Perspectives on the World Christian Movement: A Reader presents a rich collection of readings that explore the biblical, historical, cultural, and strategic dimensions of world evangelization.

Contributions from more than 150 mission scholars and practitioners portray the unfolding story of the global Christian movement: its roots, its challenges, and its remarkable potential for the future. Every article offers practical wisdom enabling Christians to labor together with bold, biblical hope to see Christ named and followed among all peoples of the earth.

The fifth edition brings fresh voices and dozens of new contributions, reflecting the rapidly expanding network of national study programs that use Perspectives to mobilize the global church to fulfill God’s mission. Each year more than 10,000 students—in nearly 40 countries and 9 languages—participate in Perspectives courses, discovering their role in God’s story and joining his global purpose.
