Author Information: Our authors come from around the world—South Africa, Nigeria, Serbia, England, Northern Ireland, Ecuador, and the U.S. Dr. Manuel Ortiz, for whom this book is dedicated as a festschrift, is among our U.S. contributors. Dr. Ortiz is also co-author of the book Urban Ministry: The Kingdom, the City and the People of God (InterVarsity Press) with the late Harvie M. Conn.
Susan S. Baker received a B.A. from Wheaton College and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Temple University. She ministered cross-culturally in Chicago and Philadelphia for 21 years per city and taught at the Center for Urban Theological Studies for six years. She has been an adjunct professor in urban ministries at Westminster Theological Seminary for fifteen years and is currently co-director of the CRC Philadelphia Church Planting Initiative. Dr. Baker is author of Understanding Mainland Puerto Rican Poverty and co-editor of The Urban Face of Mission.
