From Seed to Fruit:
Global Trends, Fruitful Practices, and
Emerging Issues Among Muslims

What practices is God blessing in raising up groups of Jesus followers among Muslims? And how shall we understand Muslim peoples and their access to biblical witness? In recent years workers from a growing number of organizations have begun to discuss such questions. Their initial insights were refined by a broad group of workers in a consultation in the spring of 2007, further analyzed in subsequent months, and compiled in this volume. From Seed to Fruit presents the most recent worldwide research on witness to Christ among Muslim peoples, using biblical images from nature to show the interaction between God's activity and human responsibility in blessing these peoples.

Book includes a CD-ROM of supplemental resources on global trends and fruitful practices!

Also available completely on a CD-ROM!

Excerpts
“Our conviction is that peacemaking prepares the spiritual and cultural soil of Islamic societies for hearing and receiving the Gospel. It prepares the society for church formation.”– David Shenk and Ahmed Haile

“I believe that since 9/11, there is a titanic struggle going on in the heavenly realms. It is a struggle that most Christians are completely unaware is taking place. It is not a struggle between Muslims and Christians or between Muslims and the West. Rather, I am talking about a struggle within Christianity itself, a struggle for the soul of the Christian faith.”– Joseph Cumming

“There are both enthusiasts and mild skeptics of the proposal that the great increase in the number of Evangelicals in the Global South will translate into a great increase in pioneer church planters among unengaged Muslims. Is the Lord of the Harvest shifting his ‘thrusting out’ from the West to the countries of the Global South? What is the evidence?”– Greg Livingstone
